Hello, my name is Charlie Allan, Chief Executive of the Clanranald Trust & Combat International for Scotland and I would like to say thank you for showing an interest in our organisation Combat International. I hope that as you read through our website you will see we have a lot to offer people from schools and corporate organisations, to film and TV production companies, to major cultural events, etc.

What you will see in this site is just a taste of what we can do, so don't hesitate to contact us for more information.

As the school visits became more popular, the Clanranald Trust began to expand and two distinct groups soon emerged – those who educate and those who decapitate!

Charlie said: ''From the school visits we started doing corporate entertainment, public events and fetes. We realised there was a niche there and started up what we now call our 'combat team'."

The teams are able to accurately recreate the fighting styles and look of warriors from many different eras and countries and their expertise and professionalism is now highly respected in the film industry.

"We are no longer regarded as extras in productions," said Charlie.

"We are now recognised as combat performers. Someone like Ridley Scott, who we worked with in 'Gladiator' and 'Robin Hood', uses eight cameras at a time so he needs to see people engaged in combat in many different locations.

"We work hand in hand with stuntmen and actors – we're not extras, we're a cut above the rest."

Our services can be tailored to meet the needs of your client or an event theme.

• International Combat Team – the official Clanranald fight team for stunt work in Film and TV productions
• Additional services to the Film industry (actors, fight training, battle choreography, music scoring, video production, etc)
• Medieval Martial Arts Classes – training on methods of medieval fighting; many members of the class participate in the International Combat Team
